Fallout Pip-Boy falls out of production line
If you were hoping to get your hands on one of the sweet Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Editions – a physical collector’s edition item paired with the upcoming mobile app which works like its in-game counterpart – it seems you are out of luck (unless you want to fork out the $350 or more for a unit on eBay). The factory that produced this specialty item for Bethesda has confirmed that they will NOT run another line. For those of us who weren’t able to secure one of these, I guess the only thing left to do is slap on a mobile workout band and pretend you’ve got the real thing.
Nihilum drops Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team
Nihilum, a European based e-sports organization, has parted ways with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team. The old team will still attend ESL’s qualifier for the upcoming major tournament later next month. Spencer “Hiko” Martin, one of the team’s members confirmed on Twitter they will attend under the name “Maximum Effort” with an uncertain future. I’d imagine the ESL qualifier will determine whether the group remains together.
Kaldi joins Tempo Storm as analyst
Kaldi is a player I have known for a long time. This Hearthstone pro has played for vVv Gaming, Fnatic, and now joins Tempo Storm as the team analyst. His role will likely be to work closely with the team in improving strategy, game-play, and deck building in preparation for tournaments. He enters with an impressive resume, the largest of tournament showings at Insomnia52 with 1st place and various other modest showings.
