zH1Z1Daybreak lays down the banhammer
Daybreak president John Smedley has taken to Twitter to announce that approximately 25,000 players have been banned from their zombie survival game H1Z1. He went on to call out a particular cheat group which targets their game, TMCheats, that the company is aware of them and actively looking for them. He spoke more directly to the cheats that request forgiveness from the ban, “If you want us to even consider your apology, a public YouTube apology is necessary. No personal information please. Email me the link and I will tweet it. Please address your apology to fellow players, not us. Although you hurt our business this is about them, not us.” This is an interesting take on addressing an important sticking point in most zombie survival game communities.
