I’ve officially reignited the “Road to 200” regime. I have compiled an extensive list of all the games that I want to beat. I included games that I REALLY want to beat, like The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, to games that are more… meh. Like Sonic Colors.
My list is WAY, way longer than I expected. I was thinking there would be maybe 30 games or so that I want to play., but I was way off. As of today, there are 86 games on that list. And I haven’t beaten any of them.
Even though I’ve beaten over 100 games, there are still blockbusters that I haven’t finished. You’d be surprised at some of the games that I have yet to beat. I haven’t beaten Super Metroid or Final Fantasy VII or Dark Souls. There are a ton of games that I definitely should have beaten by now.
That said, there are also some flops on this list. Even so, I really should just get through them. I really don’t have the desire to play Paper Mario: Sticker Star or StarFox Adventures, but my own drive is practically forcing me to finish them.
As of yesterday, my friend and I finished playing through the Halo series. So now, my free time will be dedicated toward that “Games to Beat List.” 86 games. That’s kind of a lot.
But I’m currently playing three games. I’m on Disc 2 of Final Fantasy IX. I’m moderately far in Metroid: Other M, and I just started The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages yesterday. I have my share of games to work through. I find that I enjoy them all, though, for the most part. Other M is not my favorite Metroid game… but I’m sure it will get there once I beat it.
But for now, just know that I am working toward 200. And I’m working very hard. But I also have to sleep and eat… wait, NO. That stuff can wait. I need to beat a game. Now.
Yeah, my plate’s a little full.
