So Nintendo are releasing a new handheld, the Nintendo 3DS XL, which is bigger (because that makes things better, right?) with a screen that’s 90% larger. It will be in stores in North America from August this year, priced at $199.
“Your handheld gaming experiences will be more intense and more engrossing than ever before,” the President of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime, stated. Available in red and blue, we’ll soon get to see if size really matters.
It releases on the same day as New Super Mario Bros. 2 and “marks the beginning of a huge push for Nintendo and 3DS that will last for the rest of the year and beyond” Reggie added.
